Cruise tours pair a Northern Europe cruise with sightseeing on land, offering a more in-depth look at some of the world's most famous cities. On most Northern Europe cruise tours, the land portion is first and the cruise portion follows. The land portion typically includes overnight stays in cities such as London, Paris, Munich, Frankfurt, Shannon, Cork, Budapest, Vienna or Prague. In each city, you'll have some guided sightseeing and some time to explore on your own.
On land tours to London or Paris, you might see the Champs Elysees, the Place de la Concorde, the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral, Hyde Park, Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, St. Paul's Cathedral, the Tower of London, the Crown Jewels or Traitor's Gate.
On land tours to Europe’s imperial cities, like Budapest, Vienna, Prague, Berlin, Frankfurt, Munich and Nuremberg, you might see Gellert Hill, Fisherman’s Bastion, Mathias Church, St. Stephen’s Basilica and Hero’s Square, Ring Road, Schoenbrunn Palace, Rosenburg Castle, Altenburg Abbey, Prague Castle, St. Vitus Cathedral, Old Royal Palace, Old Town Square and Tyn Church, Reichstag, Charlottenburg Palace, Victory Column, Checkpoint Charlie, Brandenburg Gate, Neuschwanstein Castle, Olympic Stadium, Marienplatz, Frauenkirche, St. Sebald Church, Thomaskirche or the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church.
Cruise tours to Ireland tour cities such as Shannon, Killarney and Cork. On these cruise tours, you might see The Cliffs of Moher, The Ring of Kerry, Muckross House in Killarney National Park, Glengarriff and Garnish Island.
